Spent 2 hours today up at the Corner Brook Plaza outside Coles bookstore talk with people about our book, Hikes of Western Newfoundland.
It started off slow, although the mall was busy, people hustling and bustling, already Christmas shopping. I got talking to Freeman Cull from Englee (where Hike #38 is) and his wife help cut some of the Englee Trails. He is also an author having written 4 books, of which When Bells Toll in the North is one. It is amazing that when you put yourself out there and allow yourself to connect with people, the connections you can find. I am so happy to have had the opportunity to write this book and share the great hiking that on this island.
Big THANKS again to the Boulder Publications team and Alex for all your hard work!
